Peppers Plants 4 Weeks After Pruning

The Season is yearly but we're getting some nice growth out of our second year pepper plants. We are continuing to water once every other day since the weather is still very cool at night. The pictures following show our pepper plants 4 weeks after pruning back old limbs.

The Serrano peppers are really thriving as you can see there growth has really responded the the fertilizer we gave them.

Sweet Heat Pepper plants at Alejandro Farm
The Sweet Heat Peppers (above) are getting an early start was well. They were the first to produce fruit last year and we're hoping for another great year.

The California Wonder (above and below) bell peppers were really a bust yielding just a few peppers. Looks like there getting off to an early start as well and hopeful for a better performance.

Costa Rican Pepper plants at Alejandro Farm
The Costa Rican peppers (above and below) are lookin a little shabby but they should make it just fine. This was one of our favorites from last year.

Mariachi Pepper plants at Alejandro Farm
The Mariachi Peppers (above and below) look like they are still in some shock but are coming out of it. Probably our favorite in taste and yield.

We are in the process of adding another row to Alejandro Pepper farm were we'll be planting tomatoes. to make room for our Tangerine Dream peppers we'll be giving away 6 of 8 Serrano pepper tubs. Updates to follow.
